Web Applications
The web layer is where a complex system meets a human being. For us it is about navigation: finding meaning, holding context, showing connections, giving a tool that lets someone work without memorising the system.
Description
We build interfaces for our own projects: search UIs, exploratory panels, editors, visualisations, data maps. Each one lives inside a larger system, so observability, performance and discipline sit right next to it. The interface has to be fast, predictable and measurable. We treat this as a craft of navigation: careful work that lets a person move through a complex world and keep their bearings. It is the shape our web work takes.

If you are building a system and want to bring its interface into shape, the useful first step is a map: what the user is trying to do, where they lose the thread, where things slow down, and which metrics will tell the truth. Social educational project about 20th century history. Interactive navigator through events, people and phenomena of a complex century.
