About the direction
You built a great product. You have users, you have growth, you have plans. The time has come to attract investments or sell the company. And then investors run due diligence and find issues you had zero awareness of. License issues — you used a GPL library inside a commercial product, and now the investor demands that you open the source. Rights issues — some developer contracts skipped the transfer of rights, and part of the code legally belongs to someone else. Documentation issues — there is no architecture description, no scaling plans, and the investor fails to understand how it all works. We help you prepare ahead of time. Our aim is protected work: rights, licenses, and infrastructure that stay quiet at the final stage.

What we do
One of the most underestimated startup problems is the use of libraries and solutions with incompatible licenses. GPL inside a commercial product means a requirement to open the source. Missed licenses can lead to lawsuits from rights holders. Incompatible licenses can make commercial use of the product impossible. We audit every open-source component in use, check fitness for commercial use, surface license conflicts — GPL, MIT, Apache, and others. We give recommendations for replacing problematic components and prepare a report for investors that shows everything is clean and safe.

Preparation for investors requires a comprehensive approach. Every developer contract must include the transfer of rights — we check and help formalize this properly. Documentation should be complete: technical specifications, architectural decisions, infrastructure descriptions. Infrastructure assessment shows that startups with scalable infrastructure are worth significantly more — and we help you demonstrate this. Attractiveness profile building — a comprehensive company status report that highlights every strength. Project documentation preparation includes documents on combinations of solutions (open source plus commercial), technical architecture descriptions, component interaction schemes, scaling plans. Legal consulting covers the review of contracts with developers and contractors, intellectual property rights transfer documents, deal structuring consultations, NDA preparation and other agreements.

Why it matters
Venture investors and companies that acquire startups conduct thorough due diligence. When issues with rights, licenses, or documentation surface, the deal can fall through, the valuation drops, reputation suffers. Finding issues now and fixing them beats losing the deal at the final stage, when months of negotiations and thousands of dollars on legal services are already spent. We find problems and we propose concrete solutions and help implement them. We deliver practical recommendations that can be applied right away.
